This just in...
We have confirmed the following:
- Giant chess board for the party.
- Fantasy photo backdrop
It will be wonderful and exciting to have the Lolitas join us! That's why I posted in this forum!
II highly suggest reservations if your group is planning on having the high tea, because Royal/T just let us know as of yesterday that they had 70 reservations so far.
RT is still taking reservations and I'm sure that your group will still be able to submit a number up until a couple of days prior to the event. Do mention that your group will probably want to sit together so that RT will arrange tables for you. Send an email to email@example.com You will receive an automated confirmation response.
Our doll party is FREE and doesn't require rsvp's for that. And YES, please go ahead and use my posting to advertise! The more the merrier...
Oh and do bring dolls to display! This is an open doll event, so all dolls are welcome! (I'm even bringing my 1962 bubble cut Barbie as well as a couple of my bjds and Blythes!) Don't have a dolly? Plushies are welcome too!
So don't be late for this important date!
Just wondering if you are at RT usually...? I will be meeting some friends at RT tomorrow around 3:30-ish, I will love to meet you there!! ^_^
BTW, I'm not sure if it is possible to order high tea on the day of the event? Just in case of any last minute decisions…Thank you very much for all your help, look forward to see you soon!
Sorry I'm reading your post so late in the day...no RT for me today. Still very busy designing and making sets for the doll display tables. Sorry that I missed you and your gang. I was on Sawtelle today (Friday, 13th) and I put some flyers for this event at GR2 and at Black Market. If any of you are in Little Tokyo, I did put flyers in Anime Jungle, AJ Cure Shop and in Popkiller! I've become the Mad Tea Party street team as well!
*I'm sure you'll be able to order the high tea on the day of the event. I'd still suggest making a reservation, even if you'll be having more people joining your group on that day. The rsvps give the cafe staff an estimate for preperation, so that everyone will be happy and get what they order. Last time I made the rsvp and didn't sit down to eat until the event was over and I never got my high tea! They had sold out and I did get the curry dish with a couple of leftover pastries from the tea selection. It was good nonetheless....
I meant to say Saturday actually...I'm meeting some friends at the RT Saturday, 14th! Say hi hi if you are going to be in RT!! ^_^
I'm really not sure how many girls want to have the high tea, I only know that I want it for myself! Thank you for the reply! You must be so exhausted planning the event and replying to all of our comments!! ^_^
Unfortunately I'm busy on Saturday because my daughter does Irish dance (been doing it going on her 7th year) and well it being the month of March, St. Patrick's day performances officially start today and run for 3 weeks! Lotsa stuff happening this month!
I wish I could meet you for Saturday, but I'll definately see you in a week! Looking forward to it...
